Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data metachainglobal collects when you use our website and platform, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the control you have over it.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

01 Who we are

metachainglobal operates this website and the trading platform behind it. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean metachainglobal, and "you" means anyone who visits the site, registers an account or communicates with our team.

We act as the controller of the personal data described below. If you have any question about this policy or about how your information is handled, you can reach us at [email protected].

02 Data we collect

We try to collect only what we need to run your account properly.

  • Account details — your full name, email address, country, and any phone number, address or date of birth you add to your profile.
  • Security data — an encrypted representation of your password, sign-in timestamps and account activity. We never store your password in readable form.
  • Transaction data — deposits, withdrawals, investment programmes, balances, and the wallet addresses you save for payouts.
  • Communication data — messages you send through live chat, email or support tickets, and our replies.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, referring page and pages visited, collected through standard server logs and cookies.
  • Verification data — where we are required to confirm identity before a payout, documents or details you choose to provide.

We do not ask for your wallet seed phrase or private keys, and you should never send them to anyone — including us.

03 How we use it

  • To create and administer your account, authenticate you and keep it secure.
  • To process deposits and withdrawals, credit investment programmes and show you accurate balances and history.
  • To detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
  • To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations that apply to us.
  • To answer your questions and provide support across chat, email and tickets.
  • To maintain and improve the platform — diagnosing faults, measuring performance and understanding which features are used.
  • To send service messages such as security notices and material changes to terms. We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing to people who have not asked for it.

04 Our legal bases

Where data-protection law requires us to identify a legal basis, we rely on the following:

  • Performance of a contract — processing needed to open your account and provide the services you requested.
  • Legitimate interests — keeping the platform secure, preventing fraud and improving our services, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — records we must keep, and disclosures required by law or by a competent authority.
  • Consent — where we ask for it specifically, for example optional cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.

05 Cookies & live chat

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect forms against cross-site request forgery; without them the platform cannot work. Preference cookies remember choices such as your selected language.

Our live chat is provided by a third-party messaging service. When the chat widget loads, that provider may set its own cookies and receive technical information such as your IP address and the page you are viewing, so that a conversation can be routed to our team. We use chat transcripts to answer your query and improve support quality.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.

06 Who we share with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where necessary, and only with parties that are bound to protect it:

  • Service providers — hosting, email delivery, live chat, analytics and identity-verification partners acting on our instructions.
  • Blockchain networks — when you deposit or withdraw, the transaction is broadcast publicly. See the next section.
  • Professional advisers — auditors, accountants and lawyers where required.
  • Authorities — courts, regulators or law enforcement where we are legally compelled, or where disclosure is necessary to investigate fraud or protect our users.
  • Successors — if our business is reorganised or transferred, data may form part of the transferred assets, subject to this policy.

07 Blockchain transparency

Cryptocurrency transactions are recorded on public ledgers. If you deposit or withdraw, the wallet address you use, the amount and the timing of the transfer become publicly visible and permanently recorded. We cannot delete, alter or hide on-chain records, and neither can you.

For that reason, please consider using a fresh address where privacy matters to you, and remember that anyone who knows an address is yours can see its full transaction history.

08 How we protect it

Passwords are stored hashed, traffic to the site is encrypted with HTTPS, and access to account and transaction records is limited to staff who need it to do their job. Withdrawal settings sit behind your authenticated session, and payout requests can be reviewed by our operations desk before funds leave an account.

No system is perfectly secure. You also have a part to play: use a unique password, keep your email account protected, never share your sign-in details, and tell us immediately if something looks wrong.

09 How long we keep it

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is open, and afterwards for the period required by accounting, tax and anti-fraud rules. Support conversations are kept while they are useful for resolving and auditing queries. Technical logs are kept for a shorter period and then discarded. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.

10 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • ask us to delete data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep;
  • ask us to restrict or object to certain processing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent you previously gave.

Email [email protected] to exercise any of these. We may need to verify your identity first. If we cannot action a request — for example because we must retain a transaction record by law — we will explain why. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

11 Age requirement

The platform is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to open an account, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will close the account and delete the data.

12 International transfers

We operate globally, so your data may be processed in a country other than the one you live in. Where data leaves a region with strict protection rules, we put contractual safeguards in place so it continues to be protected to an equivalent standard.

13 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform or the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top always shows the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will tell you by email or with a notice in your dashboard before it takes effect.
